
Firefighters in Las Cruces were called to a residence engulfed in flames on Sunday morning, with reports indicating that two individuals were trapped inside. The Las Cruces Fire Department arrived on the scene at the 4500 block of Nambe Arc around 11:20 a.m. to confront the blaze. As stated by the City of Las Cruces, the fire crew's speedy response brought the situation under control within 10 minutes after units reached the location.
Despite their rapid action, the incident was not without consequence. Running out of the burning structure, the two occupants sustained injuries. They were subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment, as detailed by the City of Las Cruces.
An ensemble of 18 firefighters and investigative personnel attended the scene, showcasing the collective efforts of Las Cruces's first responders in moments of crisis.
