Las Vegas residents and visitors will have the chance to engage with art and explore mental health resources at the free third annual ArtUOk? Art & Mental Health Resource Fair. The event is set for March 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. PDT at the Historic Fifth Street School, located at 401 S. Fourth St. The fair will feature a variety of activities for all ages, as reported by the City of Las Vegas.

The fair will begin with an opening grounding session hosted by Renisha O’Donnell, a certified holistic leadership coach and burnout specialist. O'Donnell will guide participants through a meditation with singing bowls, providing techniques for stress relief and emotional well-being. According to the bulletins shared by the City of Las Vegas, Deanna "Bomb Chica" Colon, known from "America's Got Talent," will emcee, while attendees can enjoy yoga, performances from Mike Xavier and "The Otherwise," and a special act titled "YOU ARE A MASTERPIECE."

In addition to the performances, the event will feature a full schedule of workshops and presentations. Attendees can participate in activities such as self-defense, vocal expression, journaling, expressive painting, and pole workshops. Special guest speakers include Christina Thomas from Southern Nevada Veterans Advocacy and Dezi Marie from the Choose Happy, Love Yourself Foundation and Suicide Prevention.

The event is family-friendly, offering live music, art, and a variety of mental health resources, making it an enjoyable Saturday outing for all. Interested attendees can register for the event on Eventbrite. This community-focused initiative is a partnership between the First Friday Foundation and the National Endowment for the Arts, both of which have supported the event.
