
The 16th Judicial Circuit Court has announced the appointment of Linda Harrison as the Deputy Court Administrator. According to a press release published yesterday, Chief Judge Biernat stated that this appointment is expected to enhance the court's administrative operations.
Linda Harrison has been an integral part of the court's Juvenile Division since 2012, overseeing multiple units including Referees, Adoption, Finance, and Clerical Services and in her tenure, she presided over a range of hearings as Juvenile Referee from 2004 to 2012 delinquency, abuse and neglect, adoption, and reimbursement cases. Before her tenure with the court, she practiced law privately, building her legal experience after graduating from Detroit College of Law.
"Linda has been an incredible asset to the Juvenile Division of the Circuit Court with her combined skills of leadership, management, multi-tasking, communication, and problem solving," Chief Judge Biernat noted in the press release, expecting her past experience to translate into successful management as Deputy Court Administrator effective March 31.
