The community of Loudon County, Tennessee, is mourning the loss of former Deputy Sheriff and veteran John J. Kelly.
The Loudon County Sheriff's Office (LCSO) shared the news of his passing early this morning on their Facebook page, saying, "The LCSO Family lost one of it's own today." Kelly served the citizens of Loudon County from 1987 until his retirement in 2001.
Before joining the Loudon County Sheriff's Office, Kelly worked with the Hialeah Police Department and the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office in Florida. He also served as a United States Navy veteran.
