The accident occurred in the 2000 block of the road, as reported by WMAR2 News. In response to the crash, emergency services were promptly called to the scene, with two Maryland State Police helicopters requested to assist with the situation.
The helicopters were tasked to land at Mount Vernon United Methodist Church, likely to transport any critically injured parties to a nearby hospital quickly.
