
A stabbing incident in Downtown West has caught the attention of District 4 police. The violent episode unfolded in the early hours on Clark Avenue, where a 33-year-old man suffered a non-fatal attack and subsequently sought assistance at a nearby firehouse.
According to the Saint Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the victim was walking westbound on Clark Avenue around 1:40 a.m. It was then that he was reportedly approached and stabbed in the shoulder by an individual, whose identity continues to casually elude the authorities. After the confrontation, the victim made his way to the local firehouse for help.
Emergency medical services were summoned, and the wounded man was quickly transported to the hospital. Reports indicate he is now in stable condition. The search for the assailant is active, with detectives working to piece together the circumstances surrounding this dark hour altercation.
