
The Mankato Police Department recently celebrated the achievements of two of its officers, who were recognized by the Minnesota Office of Traffic Safety for their commendable efforts in enhancing road safety. According to a social media post from the Mankato Police and Fire, Officer Max Strong received the DWI "Hat Trick" Award for making three DWI arrests in a single night, a feat that underscores his dedication to combatting impaired driving.
In addition to bagging this unique accolade, he was also presented with his agency's Award of Merit, acknowledging his sustained commitment to traffic safety and DWI enforcement, demonstrating his vigilance against the perils of impaired driving which poses a threat to the fabric of public security, Officer Chad Honetschlager was also honored with a DWI All Star Honorable Mention for his consistent efforts to address and deter impaired driving on the city's roads.
The commendation of these two officers reflects the broader effort of the Mankato Police Department to ensure the well-being of its citizens.
