Maple Grove homeowners have started receiving their property valuation notices for 2025, which sets the stage for next year's property taxes. The notices, which began appearing in mailboxes late last week, reflect the estimated market value of properties that will be used to calculate the 2026 tax bills.
The City of Maple Grove's local government announced via a social media post, prompting residents to visit the city's website for more information and to check out an interactive sales map that can provide further understanding of how assessments are determined, affecting property values and subsequent taxes are, essentially, a reflection of the housing market and sales trends over the past year.
Should residents have any questions or if there are issues to be addressed, they're encouraged to reach out to the city's assessing office at (763) 494-6250 or via email at [email protected]. City staff are available to discuss the valuation process and make sure homeowners are fully equipped with the knowledge concerning their property's value.
In an effort to engage with the community, the announcement also featured a photograph titled "Reflecting on the day with neighbors" by local resident S. Kotula, which won in the 2024 photography contest.
