Marietta residents are invited to provide input on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program’s strategies for assisting low and moderate-income individuals. A Public Review Meeting will be held on March 20 at 11:00 AM at 268 Lawrence Street, Suite 200, to discuss the Annual Action Plan for Program Year 2025, according to the City of Marietta website.

The 30-day comment period runs from today to April 4. Comments can be directed to Kelsey Thompson-White by phone at 770-794-5437 or email at [email protected]. The Plan is available on the City of Marietta website and in hard copy at the Lawrence Street Suite.

The expected CDBG allocation is approximately $417,166, with adjustments to the Housing Rehabilitation/Reconstruction/Acquisition and Administration & Planning budgets if necessary. Public Service Subrecipients may face cuts only if required to prevent exceeding 15% of the total award.
