McMinn County Schools in Tennessee proudly announced that two of its teachers, Josh Felker and Kasey Harmon, have been recognized for their exemplary teaching efforts. According to a post from McMinn Schools Career & Technical Education on their Facebook page, Felker, teaching at Central High School, was named the Outstanding Teacher of East Tennessee, while Harmon, from McMinn County High School, received the Turn the Key New Teacher award for the region.
The post expressed gratitude for all teachers "getting it done" in the classroom and highlighted the achievement, saying, "I love seeing this wall of Tn teachers, and I am extremely proud to see South East (cherokee district) being on the leaderboard." The recognition is not just a personal accolade for the teachers but a testament to the quality of education being provided in the district.
The recognition for these teachers is part of a broader acknowledgment of educational excellence in the area. The social media accolade also extended a "huge shout out to our neighbors Polk county and Bradley county as well," showcasing the spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect among educators in the surrounding regions.
