A Medway man has been placed under arrest in connection to a violent altercation that occurred yesterday, leaving another man with grave injuries, authorities said. The Medway Police Department detailed the incident and subsequent arrest in a recent Facebook post.
The skirmish, which reportedly unfolded at 3 Partridge Street, prompted a 911 call yesterday morning. Responding officers found a 33-year-old male, unconscious and in a critical state. The man received immediate care at the scene and was later hurried to Milford Regional Health Center before being airlifted to UMass Medical Center in Worcester for advanced support.
Following an exhaustive investigation that brought together Medway Police detectives, Mass State Police detectives from the Norfolk County District Attorney's Office, and Mass State Police Crime Scene technicians, Bryan Condoy, aged 29, was apprehended around noon today. Notably, Condoy, who allegedly fled prior to the arrival of the first responders, resides at the location of the altercation.
The detainee, Mr. Condoy, faces serious charges including "Assault and Battery causing Serious Bodily Injury," "Assault and Battery by means of a Dangerous Weapon," and "Assault and Battery," as confirmed by the Medway Police Department statement. The victim, whose identity has not been disclosed, remains in serious, but stable condition at UMass Medical Center. Mr. Condoy’s arraignment is slated for tomorrow in Wrentham District Court.
