The initial reports of the incident were confirmed just before 2:00 a.m., according to Action News 5. However, the call to the Memphis Police Department (MPD) detailing the shooting was logged just after 1 a.m., providing a narrow timeframe for when the violence unfolded.
FOX13 arrived on scene to discover an area cordoned off with crime scene tape, with police already active in their initial assessments of the tragedy. Details regarding the circumstances that led to the shooting or potential victims were not immediately available.
