The Minneapolis Police Department (MPD) has been awarded special recognition by the U.S. Secret Service for its collaboration during last year's election season. In a time when the political climate was highly charged and security concerns were at an all-time high, the collaboration between the MPD and the Secret Service ensured the safety of political candidates, as reported by the Minneapolis Police Department.
Special Agent in Charge Matthew Cybert was on hand to present the MPD with a commemorative plaque, the Minneapolis Police Department noted. "Well done, MPD!"
