
Dshon Stewart, a 29-year-old with a criminal history, has been arrested in connection with two bank robberies in Nashville this month. The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department reports that Stewart is accused of robbing the Regions Bank on Clarksville Pike earlier this month and the Bank of America on Dickerson Pike on March 20.
Stewart had been released from prison shortly before these incidents after serving an 8-year sentence for aggravated robberies in 2017. During his arrest, police found a stolen pistol, two pounds of marijuana, and $2,400 in cash at his home.
Stewart is facing charges for robbery and aggravated robbery, with additional charges expected. His bond is set at $80,000, and he remains in custody.
