Parking at Melton Lake Park will be limited during the upcoming Oak Ridge Regatta. According to the City of Oak Ridge, parking will be restricted to event attendees, and the public is encouraged to use alternative lots such as Elza Gate Park or other Melton Lake Drive locations to access the greenway.
The change aims to reduce traffic in the main lot during the regatta. Adventures Outdoors patrons will still have reserved parking spaces.
The event, held from yesterday until tomorrow, will feature a collegiate rowing competition. The City of Oak Ridge has partnered with the Oak Ridge Rowing Association and the University of Tennessee to ensure a smooth and secure event.
