The Oakland Police Department has issued a call-to-action for the public's assistance in the search for a missing teenager, Samya Martin, who they have declared is at risk due to her age. The 14-year-old was last seen on the 500 block of 105th Avenue in Oakland at approximately 12:25 p.m. yesterday.

According to the Oakland Police Department, Samya is a Black female, 5'8” tall, weighing 185 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. Her clothing at the time included a green pullover sweater, blue jeans, and brown slides.

The Missing Persons Unit of Oakland PD is at the helm of this investigation, and they are urging anyone with insight into Samya's whereabouts to make immediate contact.
