Officials reported a vehicular homicide involving 16-year-old Tamireyahna Warren in an incident in Oklahoma City. According to the Oklahoma City Police Department, last Friday night, they were dispatched to 1808 NE 7th St. following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian.
The suspect, identified as Quimariauna Johnson, was arrested after officers conducted a traffic stop shortly after the incident. The investigation suggests that the incident was not accidental, the vehicle being used as a murderous weapon at a gathering where both the victim and suspect were present. After allegedly striking Warren with her vehicle, Johnson reportedly fled the scene.
Information provided by the Oklahoma City Police Department's official release confirms Warren's passing due to injuries sustained during the incident and Johnson's detainment on a complaint of First-Degree Murder.
The circumstances leading to this violent outcome are under investigation, with early reports indicating a dispute that escalated to fatal violence.
