According to WREG, the Mississippi Highway Patrol responded to the scene at approximately 8:25 p.m., where a 2011 Ford F-150, driven by a man from Hernando, Mississippi, collided with the rear of a 2005 Harley Davidson motorcycle.
The motorcycle's rider, identified as Miguel A. Gonzales, a 68-year-old man from Olive Branch, Mississippi, sustained fatal injuries. In a statement obtained by Action News 5, Gonzales was pronounced dead at the scene. Both vehicles had been traveling east on the highway when the incident occurred, prompting ongoing investigations by the authorities.
Eric D. Langston, 47, of Hernando, MS, was identified as the driver of the Ford F-150 involved in the crash. The investigation being led by the Mississippi Highway Patrol aims to thoroughly understand the circumstances that led to the unfortunate event, as reported by FOX13 Memphis.
