A 48-year-old Nebraska man, Chad Alioth, is facing federal sex trafficking charges after his arrest on Thursday last week. Law enforcement from the Omaha Police Department and Homeland Security agents made the arrest, as reported by the Omaha Police Department to WLBT.
Authorities are now investigating to find additional victims, with the belief that Alioth's criminal network may extend beyond Nebraska. The investigation covers several southern states, including Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Kansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas, and Oklahoma, according to FOX 5 Atlanta.
