Heads up to all late-night travelers and early birds in Chesterfield Valley: you're in for a slight detour come March 24. MoDOT has announced that the eastbound Interstate 64 ramp to Chesterfield Airport Road, also known as Exit 14, is getting a nighttime facelift. According to a MoDOT press release, this necessary inconvenience is to allow crews to make some much-needed pavement repairs.
The work is scheduled to start on March 25 at 8 p.m., weather willing, and the ramp is set to reopen the next morning by 5 a.m. for all you commuters. If you're planning on jetting off or cruising through the area, you might want to give yourself a leg up on time, or find another way around.
Got to stick to I-64? Here's the game plan: just keep on trucking eastbound past the closed exit, and hop off at Boone’s Crossing (that's Exit 17, for anyone keeping track). Then simply swing a lefty onto Chesterfield Airport Road heading westbound, and you're back on track.
