A Pacifica man has been arrested on DUI charges after being involved in a hit-and-run collision. On Tuesday, officers responded to Peralta Rd and Linda Mar Blvd following reports of the incident, per the Pacifica Police Department.
28-year-old Jason Zachary Trisler was identified as the driver who allegedly fled the scene and was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. The investigation carried out by the Pacifica Police led to his arrest, and he was booked for DUI under 23152(A) CVC. Despite the circumstances, authorities reported no injuries resulting from the collision. However, the district attorney's office will consider additional hit-and-run charges against Trisler under 20002(A) CVC.
After his arrest, Trisler was released on a criminal citation to a sobering facility, an option chosen for those apprehended under such circumstances.
