Residents of Panola County, Mississippi, have been shaken by a series of violent acts against pets, with three dogs having been shot and killed within the span of a single week, as reported by local authorities. The Panola County Sheriff's Office is actively seeking any information related to the incidents.
The investigation began after two German Shorthaired Pointers were found shot to death last Thursday, the grim discovery has since led to an ongoing hunt for the culprit; another dog, also found deceased, met a similar cruel fate on Monday in the Ranchette Acres neighborhood south of Batesville, reports WREG.
In response to the incidents, the sheriff's office has launched a request for public assistance, seeking clues that could lead to those responsible for the shootings.
