A pedestrian was struck by a Brightline train yesterday in St. Lucie County, according to the St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office.
The incident took place near Depot Drive and 2nd Street, and the condition of the individual remains unknown, as per CBS12 report.
A Sheriff's Office spokesman confirmed the crash site and said the investigation is ongoing. It is unclear how the pedestrian ended up on the tracks. "This is a developing story and will be updated as more information becomes available," WPBF reported.
