
Phoenix police responded to a report of shots fired in Arcadia last Friday morning and found 51-year-old James "Artie" Arthur Eaves dead in his driveway from a gunshot wound. His brother, Christopher Arthur Eaves, was arrested as the primary suspect, as reported by ABC15.
Phoenix police have arrested 49-year-old Christopher in connection with the death of his brother, "Artie." Investigators identified him as a suspect based on evidence and took him into custody when he returned to the scene with family members. A SWAT team was deployed as police conducted further inquiries. According to AZ Family, Christopher refused to answer police questions and faces multiple charges, including murder. "Artie" was an attorney at Sanders & Parks for nearly 22 years and a former prosecutor at the Maricopa County Attorney's Office. Robin Burgess, president of Sanders & Parks, stated, "Artie was a close friend, amazing attorney and colorful raconteur; his death leaves a hole in all of our hearts."
