
An investigation is underway in Phoenix where a woman was found dead near Interstate 17. According to FOX 10 Phoenix, police discovered the body early Wednesday morning. The deceased has been identified as 43-year-old Brandy Thornton.
Authorities arrived at the scene near the junction of I-17 and Van Buren Street around 7:30 a.m. after receiving reports of an injured person. They found Thornton's body on the sidewalk, and she was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. The Phoenix Police Department is now treating the case as a homicide.
