Evening temperatures are set to remain comfortably cool, hovering in the mid to upper 40s through Thursday before creeping into the mid-50s come Friday night. Tonight, the National Weather Service reports, "Clear, with a low around 47. West wind 5 to 10 mph becoming light and variable after midnight."
Midweek warmth will see temperatures gently rising with Wednesday and Thursday slated for highs of 73 and 80 degrees respectively. "Sunny, with a high near 73. Calm wind becoming east northeast around 5 mph," states the National Weather Service's forecast for the Phoenix area. Following suit, calm winds are predicted to continue, offering residents mild and stable conditions perfectly suited for outdoor activities.
As Phoenix approaches the weekend, the upward trend in temperature is anticipated to persist, with Friday and Saturday marking the high 80s. Calm wind going west at around 5 mph will be experienced in the afternoon, hints at the steady climb. By Sunday, the mercury is expected to reach 86 degrees, culminating in a high near 91 by Monday.
