Phoenix can expect a 100% chance of showers and possible thunderstorms on Thursday after 11 a.m., with south-southwest winds gusting up to 35 mph and rainfall between a quarter and half an inch before tapering off by 11 p.m. The evening will cool to 43 degrees with calmer winds. The weekend will bring mostly sunny conditions, with a high near 59 on Friday, warming to 66 on Saturday and 73 on Sunday, as stated by the National Weather Service.
