
Tragedy struck the Centennial Neighborhood of Portland this past Monday when Brianne Pardue, a 45-year-old local resident, was fatally shot. Officials identified the victim following the incident and have since released her name to the public. According to the Portland Police Bureau, Pardue's family has been notified and they have provided a photo to accompany the announcement as part of her remembrance.
Having concluded their preliminary examination, the Medical Examiner has ruled Pardue's death a homicide, indicative of a gun violence issue that continues to plague various city neighborhoods.
Police have not yet disclosed details on potential suspects or motives related to the case.
