A 19-year-old man was fatally shot inside a Mitchellville home, and now a reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of those responsible is being offered by local authorities. The Prince George’s County Police Department identified the victim as Donnell Stephenson, a resident of Hyattsville, who was discovered inside a home on the 700 block of St. Michaels Drive following a report of gunfire that occurred around 12:15 a.m. yesterday, as reported by Daily Voice.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers found Stephenson with multiple gunshot wounds, and he was pronounced dead shortly thereafter. The circumstances leading up to the shooting have not been clarified, and no potential suspects have yet been identified, according to reports from WUSA9. In hopes of gathering crucial tips from the public, PGPD has set a $25,000 reward for useful information.
