Travelers and residents in DeKalb County should be prepared for a detour this week. Hayden Quarry Road has been closed to through traffic from Monday between Turner Hill Rd. and Klondike Rd. The closure is in effect daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. until today due to water line installation at 7199 Hayden Rd, Lithonia, GA 30038.
DeKalb County website has posted road closure and detour signs in the area to notify drivers about the construction and traffic restrictions. Motorists should allow for extra travel time or consider alternate routes to avoid delays.
