
This morning, a structure fire broke out in a multi-family apartment complex on the 400 block of Milton Avenue in San Bruno. San Bruno Fire Department swiftly responded to the emergency, deploying firefighters to combat the flames. Per the details on the San Bruno Fire Department's Facebook page, their teams arrived promptly. They managed to aggressively attack the fire, successfully containing it and preventing it from spreading further.
The fire, now extinguished, unfortunately, resulted in the displacement of several families, while one individual had to be transported to a local hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation. San Bruno Fire Department has expressed its gratitude towards various public safety partners, including the San Bruno Police Department, Central County Fire Department, South San Francisco Fire Department, American Medical Response (AMR), and the American Red Cross, for their crucial support provided at the scene. "We want to thank our public safety partners at San Bruno Police Department, Central County Fire Department, South San Francisco Fire Department, American Medical Response (AMR), and the American Red Cross for their vital assistance at the scene," their statement read.
As noted by the San Bruno Fire Department in their social media post, "Our thoughts are with the residents affected, and we’re working with community partners to support their recovery."
