Yesterday, San José saw its fourth traffic-related fatality of the year when an adult male was struck by a vehicle on South White Road and subsequently pronounced dead at the scene.
Details released by the San José Police Department revealed the incident happened near Park Lane, where the victim was found in the middle of the street outside any marked crosswalk and hit by a 2005 gray Buick SUV that was heading southbound. The adult male driver stayed on scene and is said to have cooperated with law enforcement's investigation.
