The Shelby County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect connected to a burglary reported in the Chelsea area last Wednesday. Authorities turned to social media to enlist the public's assistance, sharing images of the suspect and their distinct jacket in hopes that someone might recognize them. The Sheriff's Office urges anyone identifying the person in the photos to step forward.

According to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office's Facebook post, individuals with any information regarding the suspect's identity are encouraged to contact Investigator Cunningham at 205-670-6172 or via email. An anonymous tip can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers of Metro Alabama. They shared their contact number as well, reaching out to the wider community with the details necessary for citizens to help, if they can.

"Please take a moment to look at the pictures of this individual and perhaps you recognize the jacket they are wearing," the Shelby County Sheriff's Office elaborated, highlighting a potential key in identifying the suspect.
