Snohomish County residents who use Solid Waste Transfer Stations should be aware of modified hours in April due to staff training. The changes affect several facilities, and residents are encouraged to plan their waste disposal accordingly.
According to the announcement from Snohomish County, the following schedule changes are in place: On Monday next week and Thursday next week, the Airport Road Recycling and Transfer Station (ARTS) will operate from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. The North County Recycling and Transfer Station will have the same hours on Wednesday next week. The Southwest Recycling and Transfer Station will close at 3 p.m. on Friday next week.
Residents are advised to arrive at least 30 minutes before closing times to ensure services are completed. The changes are made to accommodate staff training, which is essential for maintaining service and safety standards.
