In a recent crackdown on crime in South San Jose, the South San Francisco Police Department made headway into a series of mail theft burglaries troubling the community. Detectives from their Criminal Investigations Bureau executed a search warrant last Thursday, arresting two individuals believed to be behind multiple burglaries on Mandalay Place earlier this year, according to an update shared by the South San Francisco Police Department.
Authorities conducted a thorough investigation that uncovered the suspects' criminal activities, leading to their arrest without incident. During the operation, they seized over a thousand stolen items, including tools and identity documents taken from the mail, revealing a serious threat to personal privacy and security. The suspects were taken to San Mateo County Jail and face multiple charges, including identity theft and drug possession.
"These challenging investigations impact so many victims, but thankfully some justice can be served in this case!" as per the South San Francisco Police Department.
