As reported by KSDK, the Utah-based dessert company will be making their Major League Baseball debut with a stand at the famed sports venue. Guests attending the St. Louis Cardinals games will find the new concession at section 136 along the first base line, starting March 27 when the Cardinals square off against the Minnesota Twins.
BizJournals notes that this is the first MLB stadium appearance for the franchise which has seen rapid growth, currently boasting 1,071 stores nationwide. Crumbl's presence in the stadium is a testament to its burgeoning brand and the growing trend of incorporating popular fast-casual dining options into sports arenas. Nine of these stores are located locally, reflecting a firm community presence.
Melissa Bohlmann, the local franchise owner of Crumbl Cookies, expressed excitement about the new venture. "Our mission has always been to bring people together over the best cookies in the game, and we’re thrilled that Busch Stadium is the first-ever MLB Stadium to offer Crumbl Cookies," Bohlmann said in a statement obtained by KSDK. She emphasized the significance of joining the Cardinals' game-day traditions, a sentiment bound to resonate with fans.
In addition to their mainstays, Crumbl will feature a rotating variety of indulgences including a chocolate chip cookie, a peanut butter cookie, and a chocolate cake batter, along with an exclusive St. Louis Cardinals-inspired cookie. This special offering will be unveiled at the home opener and remain a unique treat available solely at Busch. As Bohlmann told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, "Crumbl has this cult following. When you open the store [residents] just get behind it. Who doesn't love cookies?"
