Attention parents and guardians of little treasure hunters: The St. Louis Park Lions Club is rolling out the green carpet for its annual Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 19. Set to unfold at the ROC, located at 3700 Monterey Drive, children from ages 3 through 8 will engage in the delightful scramble for candy and special eggs starting at 10:15 a.m. sharp. The event promises a joyful morning of colorful discoveries and sweet treats for the little ones.
Each young participant, for the nominal fee of $6 per person, will receive a goodie bag to collect their finds—be it chocolate treasures or the coveted special eggs. There is no fee for supervising adults, ensuring that the whole family can enjoy the outing without extra cost. According to information released by The Lions Club, “Each participant will receive a bag to collect their goodies.” Moreover, don't miss the chance to snap a picture with the St. Louis Park Bunny, adding a memorable touch to the day's festivities.
For the creatively inclined, there's also the coloring contest open to kids 8 and under. Little artists can showcase their skills by picking up a coloring sheet at The Rec Center or by downloading it upon registration. Finished masterpieces should be brought to the event, with prizes awaiting the most vibrant of displays. “Prizes will be awarded for the coloring contest for ages 8 and under,” the Club notes, ensuring every child has a chance to shine.
Interested families should hop to it and register before the April 18 deadline, or risk missing out should the event fill up. To register or for more details, attendees can visit the official event page at the Lions Club website. With limited space, early registration ensures a spot in this cherished community tradition. Remember, the egg hunt begins promptly and it wouldn't do to arrive late and miss out on the fun.
