Authorities are on the lookout for a vehicle tied to the theft of a food trailer, taken from the 300 block of N. 11th Street earlier this month. According to a notice posted by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the incident took place on March 14, and they are asking for the public's assistance in tracking down the suspect and vehicle involved.
The vehicle in question is described as a black, dual-wheel, extended cab pickup truck with distinguishing features like silver running boards, and fog lights perched atop the roof. As reported, it was sporting an expired Illinois license plate numbered “3884176,” a detail that becomes more baffling upon the revelation that this plate isn't even registered to the truck in question. Detectives from the Fourth District are leading the charge in this search, peering into the murk of our city streets for this elusive perpetrator.
