The initiative kicks off on June 5 at McDonough Rec Center and follows through the summer with several other meet-ups.
Each event is scheduled to run from 5 to 7 p.m., with the interesting twist of a "Special Edition" happening on June 10 at Griggs Rec Center, which will provide an assortment of activities specifically adapted for participants with disabilities. The intention behind this inclusivity is clear – to create an environment where every member of the community can come together and truly get to freely enjoy the summer festivities. Other locations featured in this year's lineup include Hazel Park Rec Center on June 12 and Dayton’s Bluff Rec Center on July 10.
