A 15-year-old boy was shot late on the night of last Saturday in Southwest Atlanta. According to the Atlanta Police Department, officers responded to the 4306 block of Notting Hill Drive SW and found the teen with multiple gunshot wounds.
The boy, who had injuries to his head, right arm, and buttocks, was alert and quickly taken to a local hospital for treatment. The quick response from first responders was critical in helping him. The Atlanta Police Department's Aggravated Assault Unit took over the scene and began investigating the incident.
Details of the shooting are limited, and the police have stated that the investigation is ongoing.
