In the early hours today, a burglary occurred at Ron and Don Wholesale, located at 394 E H Crump Boulevard in Memphis. As reported by the Memphis Police Department Facebook page, officers responded to an alert at 2:02 a.m. and arrived to find suspects robbing the business. Three individuals tried to flee the scene, leading to a foot chase that resulted in two arrests.
During their investigation, police discovered boxes of stolen merchandise in the suspects' truck. Paul Chalmers, 29, and David Johnson, 39, were arrested and charged with burglary and evading arrest. The two suspects were caught after attempting to escape.
While two suspects were arrested, the third managed to escape for the time being.
