
Early on Thursday morning, a fire broke out at an apartment complex in Frayser, injuring two infants and one adult. The Memphis Fire Department responded to the scene at Corning Village Apartments on Briercrest Lane or Steele Street around 7 a.m. Two children were transported to Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, one with minor burns and the other treated for smoke inhalation. An injured adult was taken to the Regional One Burn Unit with minor burns, according to FOX13 Memphis.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation. Action News 5 reported that one apartment suffered "significant damage." Firefighters responded to the scene, and the building was evacuated. No injuries have been reported.
