A quiet Monday afternoon at a Buckhead post office was interrupted when a vehicle crashed into the building. The Atlanta Police Department responded to the scene at the U.S. Post Office on Pharr Road after a Range Rover collided with the building around 3 p.m., according to FOX 5 Atlanta.
The driver of the SUV, which had a temporary dealer tag, remained at the scene and was cited by authorities. "No life-threatening injuries" were reported, and footage showed the SUV had broken through the front glass entrance. A woman in the SUV and another woman inside the building suffered minor injuries, with the bystander taken to a local hospital for treatment, as reported by Atlanta News First.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, and the post office was immediately closed.
