
A woman is currently in critical condition following an act of gun violence in North Memphis, which took place outside a local market on Wednesday evening. According to Action News 5, the Memphis Police Department began investigating after receiving calls about gunfire at the North Memphis Market at the intersection of Vollintine Avenue and North Avalon Street.
A woman was shot multiple times around 6 p.m. near 1580 Vollintine Ave., close to Wild Bill's Juke Joint. She was taken to Regional One Hospital in critical condition. No suspects have been detained. The Memphis Police Department is investigating, as mentioned by Local Memphis.
