Individuals have until April 30 to reclaim their lost belongings from the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office (YCSO). According to a public notice released by the YCSO, property that is not claimed by the cut-off date will be subject to disposition per A.R.S. statute. The notice, which emphasizes the need for proof of ownership before any items can be returned, provides a contact number for the YCSO Property Custodian and the address where the property can be picked up. The long list of found items includes firearms, various pieces of jewelry, electronics, outdoor gear, and more.
The YCSO's published notice details the assortment of objects awaiting their rightful owners. Among them are several firearms such as a Ruger Semi Auto 9mm, a Ruger LP9, multiple rifles, and a Smith & Wesson Revolver. For those who were possibly dispossessed of their lost items, there's also a brown box enclosing a ring with a stone and a pink box with another ring. An iPod with a charger has also been found.
Individuals seeking to reclaim their belongings can contact the YCSO Property Custodian by calling (928) 777-7425 and schedule an appointment to collect their items at 7100 N County Fair Trail, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314. The office's hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday.
