Two young individuals in the Walnut Park West neighborhood fell victim to an armed robbery. The incident occurred at the intersection of Saloma and Riverview on Friday afternoon, around 4 p.m., as reported by St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
According to the victims' statements to the police, they were approached by three masked males driving a black Kia. Initially, the suspects inquired about marijuana, to which the juveniles replied they had none. Following a brief departure, the suspects executed a U-turn and returned to stop next to the young individuals. The three males then exited the Kia, displaying firearms, and proceeded to demand the victims' belongings. In compliance with the threats, the juveniles handed over their possessions.
The perpetrators subsequently re-entered their vehicle and absconded with a cell phone, cash, and a bag containing a Nike mask and a bank card, as detailed by the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. The authorities are now seeking information on the three individuals, who remain at large following the robbery.
