Early this morning, tragedy struck on Landrum Dr. as Atlanta Police discovered a man who had been fatally shot. According to a report released by the Atlanta Police Department, officers from Zone 4 arrived at the scene at 3041 Landrum Dr. SW following a call about a shooting incident around 3:40 a.m.
Upon their arrival, they found the male victim suffering from what seemed to be a gunshot wound, medical personnel attempted life-saving measures but sadly, the individual was pronounced dead at the scene, the area was quickly cordoned off for further investigation, and the Homicide Unit took over to determine what had transpired. The identity of the victim has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
The Atlanta community has been left shaken by the sudden act of violence, as investigators work diligently to uncover the details of the incident.
