A Ballwin man, identified as Brendan T. Yeager, 28, is facing charges of felony harassment. Fox2Now reports that the charges come after he allegedly followed three women at Shaw Park in separate incidents throughout April 2025. The Clayton Police Department declared the arrest of Yeager, indicating that the victims experienced considerable distress due to his proximity and behavior.
In the multiple instances highlighted by the victims, it was noted that Yeager, maintained a disturbingly close distance from them, sometimes as close as an arm’s length, and persisted in matching their pace even when they tried to speed up. This raised alarms, escalating concerns over personal safety and prompting police involvement. According to First Alert 4, one of the women reported that Yeager followed her into her apartment building, after an encounter at the park.
Additionally, authorities have alerted the public that Yeager is known to visit various area parks. In light of these events, local law enforcement is encouraging anyone with similar experiences or believes they may have been harassed by Yeager to come forward and contact police. The Clayton Police Department's efforts to compile further information suggest a pattern of behavior that may affect additional members of the community.
