Community members have been invited to join their local officers for a casual "Coffee with a Cop" event today at Sip of Joy Cafe, located at 661 Tremont Street in South End. According to a post on the Boston Police Department's official website, the event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
The department expressed this sentiment, detailing the event as "just a chance to ask questions, voice concerns and get to know the officers in your neighborhood." Sip of Joy Cafe and The Boston Police Foundation are collaboratively sponsoring the initiative, signaling a commitment not just to public safety, but to community coherence as well.
