
The Brookline MA Police Department has made a public appeal for assistance in identifying two individuals connected to a reported shoplifting incident that took place on Harvard St on the evening of April 7. They shared images and descriptions of the subjects through their social media channels in an attempt to gather more information about the case.
According to the Brookline MA Police Department post, the first suspect is described as either a white or Hispanic male, who has facial hair, and was seen wearing a black and white jacket, black sweatpants, and black sneakers; the second suspect is identified as a black or Hispanic female, dressed in a red jacket, gray sweatpants her feet donned in black and white sneakers, all the while carrying a purple bag during the time of the incident, and clarity must be found for both parties are not currently considered wanted by law enforcement.
The request for identification regarding the alleged shoplifting marks a straightforward approach by the Brookline police to engage the local community in assisting law enforcement efforts. Through leveraging social media, they hope that someone might recognize the individuals from the provided descriptions and imagery, thereby aiding in furthering their investigation.
